RiverPort Books is led by Rob and Alex Wagner — small business veterans who bring real entrepreneurial experience to every client they serve.
Alexandra Wagner
Alexandra is the precision behind the process. She has made a career of managing books, streamlining systems, and improving profitability for small businesses.
Her career began at Lynch Chevrolet in Burlington, Wisconsin, where she worked in the repair division that partnered with Progressive Insurance. When she started, the shop was ranked as a Tier 3 provider. Within months of implementing her quality-control and workflow improvements, it advanced to Tier 1 status — increasing both efficiency and repair volume from Progressive.
From there, Alexandra brought the same problem-solving mindset to a Wisconsin board game store called Wizard’s Moo, later rebranded as Hobby Knights. What began as a bookkeeping role quickly grew into a full partnership. Through tighter inventory management and structured financial systems, she helped turn a small hobby shop into one of the state’s premier local game stores.
That mix of operational insight and financial precision is what she brings to every client at RiverPort Books.
Rob Wagner
Rob brings clarity and communication to every client relationship. He’s spent nearly two decades running and supporting small businesses — giving him firsthand insight into what owners face when time and stress collide.
Over the years, Rob has launched and managed multiple ventures, including a detailing service, a real estate career with EXIT Realty, and a digital marketing firm that helped contractors and small agencies grow their reach. Through each business, he learned how accurate books and clear reporting drive better decisions — and how quickly disorganization can derail growth.
At RiverPort Books, Rob serves as the bridge between clients and their books, making sure every question gets answered and every report makes sense. His goal is simple: to help business owners feel confident about where they stand and where they’re headed.
